Jez Hall – Master Instructor
Jez is Master Instructor for 7KS Chikara, heading the 7KS network of martial arts instructors. Jez is a Black Belt in Kickboxing. He competed to British Title standard and empowered others to reach their potential, producing six World Title holders.
With 30 years experience in the sphere of martial arts, Jez has worked with schools, colleges and national organisations such LAGA, PACT and A4E, designing and delivering martial arts programmes. Jez was instrumental in the strategic planning of the 7KS physical arts curriculum and behaviour management programmes taught to 7KS students at South Park Enterprise College – outlined in an Ofsted report, following a successful inspection.

Rob Fulton – Centre Manager
Rob coordinates the services provided by the martial arts instructors. Rob has 22 years experience in martial arts, with 16 years teaching and is a Black Belt 5th Dan in Kickboxing. A martial arts team member representing England, Rob also held English and British Championship Titles.
Rob has awareness of disability issues through liaising with PACT, and has worked with NACRO delivering “awareness” and “keep safe” courses to young offenders.

John Tomlinson – Centre Manager
John Tomlinson is the manager and an instructor at the 7KS Chikara martial arts centre on Newdown Road in Scunthorpe. John has 12 years experience in a variety of martial arts styles and is a black belt in Kickboxing. John is a current member of the British kickboxing squad and has won various local, national, international and European titles. He has also produced 3 european and 1 world title holders. |

Mark Norwood – Instructor
Mark has 29 years of martial arts experience and nearly 20 years of instructing experience. Whilst travelling extensively in his career in the Royal Navy, Mark trained in styles including Kempo, Ju-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Judo and Kickboxing. Mark teaches the relatively new and exciting art of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Mark holds Black Belts in Kickboxing, Judo, Ju-Jitsu and Kempo Ju-Jitsu and is now keen to promote and teach the skills for MMA.

Ian Howard – Instructor
Ian is a Black Belt martial arts instructor and has a background of 20 years in various martial arts disciplines – Kickboxing, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Aikido. Ian has been teaching martial arts for 10 years and is particularly skilled at delivering martial arts programmes to junior age children.
Ian has worked alongside the organisation PACT who specialise in supporting individuals with autistic spectrum disorders, as well as STRUT - a charity who organise activities for children with a range of disabilities.

Brian Phelps – Instructor
Brian’s main discipline is Kickboxing. He is a Black Belt with five years experience, and has been instructing for four years. Brian is an all round instructor who works across the spectrum - from young children in our ‘Junior Dragons’ classes to Boxercise for Ladies. |
